The panel

The Sodatide Supplement Facts panel, typed out

One serving is one capsule, and every amount below is per capsule.

The panel sits on the right-hand side of the wrap label. It follows the FDA layout: serving size and servings per container at the top, one row per ingredient with its weight, a Daily Value column, and the other ingredients underneath. Three rows carry an amount, and all three add up to 347 mg of active ingredients in a capsule.

The dagger means that no Daily Value exists for inulin, resistant starch or a probiotic blend, so the percentage column stays empty by design.

Each of the three claims on the front carries the asterisk that points to the FDA statement, printed in full at the foot of every page here. The caution block names the three groups the label wants to see a physician first; the side effects page adds what NIH records about people who are seriously ill or have a weakened immune system.

The four rungs

How far down the chain of identity the Sodatide label goes

A trial tests a strain at a measured dose. To match a finding to a bottle you need genus, species, strain and CFU count. This label prints the first two.

Each level of probiotic identity against what the Sodatide label prints.
Identity levelWhat research namesWhat this label prints
GenusLactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, SaccharomycesBifidobacterium, Clostridium, Akkermansia
SpeciesL. rhamnosus, B. longum, and so onB. infantis, C. butyricum, A. muciniphila
StrainThe code after the species, which is what a trial testsNot published
CFU countColony-forming units per serving, the live amountNot published: the blend is given as 36 mg

NCCIH puts the reason plainly: if a specific kind of Lactobacillus helps prevent an illness, that does not necessarily mean that another kind, or a Bifidobacterium, would do the same. Knowing the species narrows the search to the right family of studies. Without the strain code, a result from one particular strain can be read as background but not claimed for this capsule.

The blend line

What the Sodatide blend line tells you, and what it holds back

A proprietary blend is a group of ingredients listed under one total weight. The rules let a brand keep the split private, but every ingredient in the blend has to be named, from the largest share to the smallest. On this label the blend weighs 36 mg and names Bifidobacterium infantis first, then Clostridium butyricum, then Akkermansia muciniphila.

Weight is a poor measure of a probiotic. A milligram of powder can hold very few live cells or a great many, depending on the strain, the drying process and how the capsules were stored. That is why most probiotic labels give a CFU count, and why this site marks the count as not published instead of estimating one from the weight.

The two fibre rows are fully open: 211 mg and 100 mg, together 311 mg. Studies of inulin and resistant starch generally used several grams a day, so the amounts here are small, and the ingredients page sets each one beside its sources.

Storage

Sodatide storage: the label line and the brand’s own advice

What the label prints

Refrigerate for optimal quality. Keep away from heat, light, and humidity to preserve freshness, and store in a cool, dry place.

What the brand adds

The brand’s directions go further: once the bottle is open, keep it in the fridge to protect the probiotics. No temperature is given for either instruction.

NIH notes that the number of live organisms in a probiotic product can fall between manufacture and use, which is the general reason cold storage matters for a live culture. With no CFU figure printed, there is no way to check how much survives, which makes following the storage advice the one thing within your control.

Lot and certificate

What came with this stock, and what it is not

Two strings arrived with this stock: lot SOD-26/SO-3431 and certificate reference SOD-3431-26-SO. They are labelled here for what they are.

A reference string is not a document

The lot and certificate references supplied with this stock are draft label values, not laboratory proof. No certificate of analysis document has reached this desk, and a reference string is not a document. If a certificate of analysis for this lot is ever supplied to this desk, it will be published here with the date it arrived.

Ask the order desk if the batch paperwork is the reason you are buying.

Read the label before the first capsule

A full panel, three amounts, three named species, and no CFU count. If that is enough for you, three bottles is $69 each with free US shipping and the money-back window is 60 days from purchase.

Questions

Sodatide supplement facts: common questions

7 questions
Does Sodatide have a Supplement Facts panel?
Yes. It sits on the side of the wrap label and lists one capsule per serving, 30 servings, 211 mg of chicory root inulin, 100 mg of potato resistant starch and a 36 mg probiotic blend, with the other ingredients underneath.
How many CFUs are in a Sodatide capsule?
Not published. No colony-forming unit count appears on the label or in the listing. NIH also notes that the number of CFUs in a probiotic can decline over time, so even a printed figure would be a figure at manufacture rather than at purchase.
What is the serving size?
One capsule, taken daily with an 8 oz glass of water; the brand suggests the morning, before a meal. A bottle holds 30 servings, and each serving carries 347 mg of the three actives.
Who makes Sodatide?
The label names the distributor, Instituto Experience of Lakeland, Florida, and says the product is made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. The factory itself is not named.
What are the lot and CoA numbers on this stock?
Lot SOD-26/SO-3431 and certificate reference SOD-3431-26-SO. The lot and certificate references supplied with this stock are draft label values, not laboratory proof. No certificate of analysis document has reached this desk, and a reference string is not a document.
Is there an expiry date printed on the bottle?
Not on the label artwork this site has seen. The label says to refrigerate for optimal quality and the brand adds that the bottle belongs in the fridge once open, but no best-before date is shown.
Are the quality seals printed on the bottle?
Not as far as we can tell. The seals sit in the seller's listing artwork. Nothing we have seen puts any of them on the bottle itself, so this site does not call them label marks.
